The recipes posted on our site is the food that makes us feel good. Food that time and time again prove to make our family feel good inside and out.
I used to absolutely love to cook, so, I am having to re-learn to love it again. It’s been a real struggle with the anxiety and depression to get past hating it. The Artist, who has anxiety, really struggles with texture and a general fear of food. This has also factored into my problem with cooking.
We do quite a bit of research on what foods can possibly have an effect on mental illnesses. The recipes containing the following items seem to cause us problems. White flour, sugar, over processed foods, lots of sodium, red dyes, and high fructose corn syrup. Because of that, we will most likely not have any of these ingredients in our recipes.
