Who says we can’t have desserts and treats if we want to feel good? We have found some that work for us. Treats don’t have to be filled with lots of sugar, salt or white flour in order for them to be enjoyable. We have discovered food that satisfies our sweet tooth but doesn’t make us feel guilty.
I don’t know about you, but I can physically tell when I have eaten something that I shouldn’t have pretty quickly. I feel bloated and sluggish. We want to feel energized and focused. Exhilarated and happy. Sometimes, it’s just not worth eating things that don’t make us feel better. We might think they will, but they usually don’t and we end up regretting it.
